Burnout is more than a buzzword. It is the result of living in a system that does not support your needs. I can help you create more personal sustainability and explore patterns as well as heal trauma. Internalized ableism is real and can impact confidence and self-esteem for neurodivergent folx. Though I cannot change the system we live in, I can help you explore how the system impacts you and ways you can create more affirming and sustainable ways of approaching life.
I work collaboratively with clients to create a plan for therapy that accommodates your sensory needs and neurotype. I use a mixture of modalities that are eclectic and creative. I typically use a person-centered approach and pepper in Narrative, Somatic, IFS, Brainspotting, and Comprehensive Resource Modeling modalities.

Group Therapy can be a great way to explore your neurodivergence. I offer group therapy for late-diagnosed ADHD and AuDHD folx (diagnosed and not) who want to explore burnout through the lens of creativity. The group offers support, regulation tools, and ways to reduce stress and burnout. Topics include creative expression for somatic healing, unmasking, emotional regulation, balancing adulting and self-care, and building a community of supportive folx.

I support folx who are in relationship with one another and am inclusive of different types of relationships, sexual, and gender identities. I work with couples, non-monogamous polycules, friendships, roommates, and co-workers. I offer a sex-positive and queer-inclusive space to explore relational stuff. I mean, isn't it all relational anyway?
I am trained in Gottman, EFT, and Sex (Positive) Therapy. I love helping people uncover the different patterns in their relationships and strengthen communication. My work centers non-pathologizing methods and I am in a lifelong process of reflecting on decolonizing practices.

Neurodivergent families can find support and understanding with me through family therapy sessions. My approach is centered on promoting healthy dynamics, effective communication, and strengthening family connections in a welcoming and affirming atmosphere. I work with your family to help the unit develop an understanding of each other. This can sometimes include helping family members with an understanding of neurodivergence and styles of communication or relating.
I use a Family Systems and Structural Therapy inspired approach that sees each family as their own universe. I strive for cultural awareness when working with families as I use frameworks from family systems theories to inform my approach.

If you are exploring the possibility of neurodivergence, I help people go through the process to see if ADHD and/or Autism fits. I have worked with neurodivergent folx for over 15 years and have training in assessing for neurodivergence. I have professional and lived experience that helps me understand neurodivergence more intimately.
Diagnosis is a personal choice. In some ways, it can bring a sense of relief and in other ways it can create systemic limitations. Many systems are not affirming for neurodivergent folx. We interact with systems every day, so the journey to diagnosis should be one that you decide is right to explore.

Brainspotting sessions for folx experiencing burnout provide a non-judgmental and trauma-sensitive space for you to process trauma, resource yourself, and find personal expansion. Brainspotting can help your nervous system feel more regulated.
